This is something that has happened recently and this quality of sleep is related to its biological purpose and, frankly, research related to the lack of quality sleep that many entrepreneurs and business leaders still report.

Let us turn to the research that led to this study.

There is no specific cure for ALS, and the researchers wanted to determine whether the damage to the body’s lymphatic system, which removes debris from the brain, may be related to the onset of the disease.

To understand their experiment, we must first understand how our body processes protein and how the lymphatic system works.

Researchers have explained that our bodies rely on long chains of proteins, each made up of amino acids, to “perform specific functions, such as building antibodies to fight infection, supporting cells, or transporting molecules.”

When things do not work properly, “incorrectly folded proteins” can accumulate in the body. This lymphatic system usually works while we are asleep and produces waste products in the brain.

Thus, the researchers involved genetically modified mice to express human protein observed in a person with ALS. When mice were fed an antibiotic-resistant diet, they were aging.

But when they fed the mice do not When antibiotics and modified human proteins accumulated, mice began to show “classic symptoms of ALS, including progressive muscle damage and brain atrophy”.

There, they examined the brain structures of mice by MRI and found that the lymphatic clearance in mice without human protein was significantly less effective than in genetically modified mice.

The authors of the study included other contributors to the lymphatic clearance based on previous studies:

  • consumption of omega-3 fatty acids, which are found in marine-based fish;
