The Director-General of the World Health Organization has called on the Committee of Emergency Situations in accordance with Article 48 of the International Health Regulations in connection with the current outbreak of the monkey virus. The meeting will be held on June 23, 2022 and is open only to members and advisers of the Committee of Emergency Situations.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide the Director-General of the World Health Organization with an opinion on the public health emergency of the international significance or the proposed Interim Recommendations.
