A new study suggests that a low-fat, low-carbohydrate diet, which has become popular in recent years, can prolong a person’s life.
Researchers at Stanford University in the Gulf have found that a ketogenic diet, commonly called a keto, helps muscles and bone cells cope with stress and allows people to live longer.
Keto diets are very low in carbohydrates but very high in fats. This teaches the body to burn fat and convert it into energy. They were famous for burning huge weights in a short time.
In some communities, the growth of the diet has been controversial, with some warning that it could cause nutrient deficiencies and other long-term problems, despite its short-term benefits.

The keto diet is rich in fat and eliminates all carbohydrates
The keto diet uses protein and fat to reduce a person’s carbohydrate intake and replace them with daily calories.
People who follow a keto diet lose weight quickly, but if it is used for a long time, it can lead to serious health problems.
The goal is to achieve ketosis, in which people use fat as energy instead of carbon
Diet fast weight gain, reduce the risk of diabetes or prediabetes and other health benefits
People who follow a keto diet often report low levels of bad cholesterol and other positive developments in the heart.
There are fears that long-term use of the keto diet can lead to chronic health problems.

Researchers who published their findings on Cell Metabolism last week found that a keto diet has many positive effects on human cells, such as fasting.
In a mouse study, researchers found that those who fasted for one to 2.5 days had more flexible muscle cells.
Although they took a long time to repair when they were damaged, the cells of fasting mice were less damaged.
Dr. Thomas Rando, a professor of neurology at Stanford University, told the university: “We have found that fasting increases the flexibility of muscle stem cells so that they can survive in times of deficiency and help rebuild muscle.”
Long-term fasting is not permanent, but daily fasting can be very uncomfortable for a person.
Eating a more realistic keto diet has the same effect as fasting on ketone-tested mouse cells.
Ketone-induced cells were flexible and lived long when they were deprived of nutrients, exposed to harmful chemicals or radiation.
Cells could also be transported to other animals that were not fasting or on a keto diet.
“Typically, most muscle cells grown in the lab die when transplanted,” Rando said.
“But when these cells are in a state of deep rest, we call them deep relaxation due to the effects of ketones, which allows them to withstand many types of stress.”
The researchers also found that mice fed a direct keto diet had similar effects.
Keto diets have become popular on social media in recent years, and while they are great for fat and weight loss, some fear that those who use them will suffer from nutritional deficiencies and lead to long-term problems.
“Cells evolved to exist in times of abundance and scarcity,” Rando said.
“They had to survive when food was not easily available. Ketones are formed when bodies use fats for energy, but they also push them to a state of calm that protects them during the breakdown of stem cells.
“In this condition, they are protected from environmental stress, but also cannot repair damaged tissues.”
The research is promising for keto diet advocates, many of whom have appeared on social media – with a variety of experience as nutritionists.
Keto diets have announced ways to lose weight and reduce fat without going on a calorie-restricted diet.
The risk of obesity, diabetes and prediabetes in the United States is also low.
There are some serious drawbacks, but some of them are so big that nutritionists would recommend against it.
First, a person who is just starting a diet may experience an experience known in the health sector as “keto flu,” in which the body experiences severe fatigue and other symptoms as a result of the replacement of energy sources.
It can also lead to many deficiencies in a person, which if not managed well, can later lead to various bone and organ problems. It can even lead to the development of chronic disease.
