10 classic games worthy of remake or remaster

The industry has not revived as much as in the last two decades. However, there are games that have not been re-created as fans wanted or expected. Silent Hill, Beyond Good and Evil, Final Fantasy VI. There are many examples of this.

In this list, The enemy brings 10 games that can benefit a lot from relaxation or remastering. In general, names that have not become obsolete or that have become very difficult to find outside of the platforms on which they appear.

Final Fantasy VI (1994)

The latest Final Fantasy released for Super Nintendo usually seems to be among the most praised by critics and fans. With memorable characters whose history is tragic, we are talking about very few epics in the history of industry. Imagine the opera scene in complete relaxation … Oh, that would be great. Unfortunately, the Pixel Remaster was still insufficient.

Parasite Eve (1998)

Aya carries a weapon against the enemy.

Among the great scary franchises of the first PlayStation, Parasite Eve is probably the least memorable today. It also makes sense when you stop to think about how old the game is. Unfortunately, the first Silent Hill still has a more realistic management than the first Mite Eve. Still, the rest may remind you why this game was so influential at the time.

Metal Gear Solid (1998)

Solid Snake hides behind the tank.

Even some versions of Metal Gear Solid are available later than the first PlayStation, but this video deserves a special treat in Kojima’s classic vacation. Whether for the narrator or the mechanic, there is no reason to be entertained and admire the 1998 game, which changed the concept of cinematic care for more games.

Silent Hill (1999) and Silent Hill 2 (2001)

The tortured body appears to be tied to an iron cage.

In order not to lose two places on the list with one franchise, let’s join the first two Silent Hills in one position. The first game, to be more precise, may look pretty bad when we look at it these days, so it’s not hard to agree that at least the remaster will go down well. The second game had a rather improved version, but it was in that dubious collection along with the third. So good luck: repeat both, Konami. But let it be true this time.

Skies of Arcadia (2000)

The main characters gathered.

In fact, Dreamcast deserves a separate full list of console games. In any case, it is impossible not to remember the Arcadia sky when we talk about the classics, as it did not happen this time. The new version would be a great opportunity to introduce this exciting world to a new generation of players.

Vagrant Story (2000)

In front of the main character is a long-haired character.

Several role-playing games are as well remembered as Vagrant Story on lists like this. Installed in the world of Final Fantasy XII and Final Fantasy Tactics, Vagrant Story brings you one of the best versions of Ivalice. It’s a pity that there isn’t an HD version or a complete rest that appreciates all of these scenarios, bringing an updated battle system and models of characters worthy of the story.

Beyond Good and Evil (2003)

Jade and Page together in the city.

Finding the game Beyond Good and Evil on a computer is relatively easy, but the original game, unfortunately, is not so outdated. If Ubisoft releases a new version with updated details, such as camera repairs, better character definition, and perhaps redesigning some entire segments, fans will need more patience to wait for the sequel.

X-Men Legends (2004) and X-Men Legends X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse (2005)

Wolverine fights alone with soldiers.

The release of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 can be interpreted in at least two ways. On the one hand, it’s always nice to have new options for playing something in this format if you want. On the other hand, Marvel seems to have simply forgotten the games that started the format of the MUA series: X-Men Legends. In the first X-Men Legends, the idea was to gather four heroes against enemy troops and some of their leaders. In fact, the second game in the series is even better. It is a pity that we will never see new versions of X-Men games.

Jade Empire (2005)

The hero fights against armed enemies.

It is true that BioWare has experienced more happy moments. In the 2000s, the company provided players with action-packed adventures marked by martial arts and a modern traditional moral system. Given the company’s clear approach to new versions of old games, it may not be too much to dream of a completely rebuilt Jade Empire. But if not, at least we can play the classic game on the computer. Of course, the experience won’t be as fluid as some players remember.

Reproduction: BioWare.

Bully (2006)

The protagonist strikes his colleague with a slingshot.

Of course, some Rockstar game would appear on the list. Bully is nothing more than a classic that the company isn’t so proud of, or at least something that Rockstar will only return to when they believe they can deliver something better than the first game. There was a lot of talk about Bully’s sequels and re-releases, but nothing happened. It would be great to play in that school with scary visuals and updated systems.
